Tuesday Dinner with TREES, Inc.

TREES, Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to do transgender awareness training and resource building in underserved small and rural communities around the country.  Their 2016 program plan has TREES visiting communities in Kentucky.  The founder of TREES, Inc., Meghan Buell, is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and is active locally, regionally and nationally in all things transgender.  She was a 2015 Trans 100 honoree and sits on the Out & Equal Workplace Advocates Transgender Advisory Committee.

TREES is an acronym for Transgender Resource, Education & Enrichment Services.  They are an IRS recognized 501c3 organization.  Donations to them qualify for tax deductions.  Visit their website to learn more about the organization.  www.webetrees.org

Meghan will be in attendance and will be available to answer questions regarding the organization.  Donations to TREES, Inc. are encouraged (yes, they will take credit cards transactions).

The meal will be prepared by the staff at Lexington Diner.  Food options are being discussed and will be available by April 11, 2016.
